Refunds and Right of Withdrawal

The short version
These are instant downloads, so they cannot be sent back. If a file will not download, will not open, or is plainly the wrong book, write in and it is fixed or refunded. Buyer's remorse after reading is not usually refunded, and the reason is explained below.
The EU 14-day right of withdrawal
If you live in the European Union, consumer law normally gives you fourteen days to change your mind about an online purchase, without giving a reason.
There is one exception for digital content that is downloaded straight away. You lose that fourteen-day right if all three of these are true: you asked for the download to start immediately, you were told you would lose the right by doing so, and you acknowledged that at the time of purchase.
At checkout
Checkout asks you to accept these terms before it will take a payment, and accepting them is how you confirm this:
That confirmation is part of the terms you accept at checkout, so no purchase completes without it and nobody loses the right by accident. If you would rather keep the fourteen days, do not buy: there is no delayed-delivery option, because a download link is the whole product.
When a refund is given anyway
Independently of the withdrawal right, a full refund is given when the product does not work as described:
- The download link never arrived and the files could not be delivered another way.
- The file is corrupted, incomplete, or will not open in a normal PDF reader.
- You received a different title than the one you paid for.
- You were charged twice for the same order.
In most of these cases the faster fix is a working file, so the first reply will usually offer that. If the file still cannot be delivered, the money goes back.
When a refund is not given
- You read the book and did not enjoy it, or already knew the material.
- You bought the same title twice by mistake and then downloaded both copies. Tell us before downloading the second and it will be refunded.
- You wanted a printed book. Every title here is described as a PDF on the page you bought from.
- You changed your mind after the download began, having confirmed the statement above.
How to ask
Email ebookhelp.support@gmail.com from the address you used at checkout. Include the order number from your receipt and one line on what went wrong. Requests are answered within two working days. An approved refund goes back through the original payment method and normally reaches your bank within five to ten working days, depending on the bank.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page removes rights your national consumer law gives you. If you are an EU or UK consumer and believe you are entitled to a refund the policy above does not cover, say so and the claim will be looked at under that law. EU consumers may also use the national consumer authority or an alternative dispute resolution body in their own country.
